Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Are all Homenoise Effects pedals handmade?

A:
Yes, all pedals that come out of the workshop are carefully handmade.

Q: What are the possible payment methods when ordering from the webshop?

A:
Payments are done through Mollie, this includes Paypal and Bancontact. The option to pay using Paypal is available worldwide. Some additional payment options are available for Belgian and Dutch customers.
Please note that you will be charged an additional 3% fee when paying through Mollie.

Q: Where else can I buy Homenoise Effects products?

A:
At the moment there are no official dealers as of yet. As an alternative to the webshop, you can purchase your Homenoise pedals from the Homenoise Effects Reverb shop.

Q: My pedal broke down, what do I do?

A:
If your pedal broke down, please read the warranty page.

Q: Do you make clones as custom effects for customers?

A:
No, if you want the sound of the original my advice would be to get the original. It is possible to get your own completely modified version of an existing effect.

Q: I really like one of your pedals, but I'd like it to have more possibilities.

A:
If you'd like a customised version of one of the pedals, don't hesitate to ask. I cannot guarantee that I'll be able to perform the modification (for various reasons), but there's always something that could be changed!

Q: Do you build and sell amps?

A:
No, only effects!

Q: Why are there only 2 models for sale?

A:
First of all I like to take my time when designing effect. There are a lot of prototypes and filled up breadboards at the workshop, but they are all a work in progress and most of them end up not being good enough. On the other hand, besides building pedals I also work a fulltime job as an electronics service technician at a big pro audio/lighting/video equipment rental company and I volunteer at a local youth-bar. This means all effects are designed, built, tested and shipped by night or during the weekend.
